There is no better feeling than being able to make a list and check it twice! The unfortunate part about this is that my list(s) tends to always be a mile long, especially around the holidays. With a cocktail party in the works I knew that there were a few things that had to get done, the first of them being to start with a clean slate. I've never been one to pawn off my dirty work* on someone else but, this year I could use all the help I could get; luckily TaskRabbit was on board to help. Prior to this I had yet to use the service, so I was a bit apprehensive about a contract or lengthy sign up process, but TaskRabbit is neither of these.

Can I get a TGIF? As it's one of my favorite days of the week and around the appropriate hour to start imbibing I thought it only right to share my go-to cocktail of the moment. You don't need to be a rocket scientist or master mixologist to know that simplest cocktails are often the best. All is true with this take on the classic dark and stormy. My tip to you? Mix up your alcohol and experiment with flavored or distilled varieties. As the first image clearly shows I am taking the new and quite tasty OAK by Absolute into the mix (with open arms).
