This post was written in partnership with 4moms, who gifted us this product for review. Please note these are 100% our own thoughts and opinions!

Even before we had Evie, we knew we had to get our hands on a 4moms Mamaroo! We had heard countless times from both family and friends about how the Mamaroo could soothe even the fussiest baby to sleep. When it came time to start thinking about essentials for Evie I personally reached out to 4moms to see if we could review their products on our blog.

The The 4MOMS MAMAROO Set-Up

Kevin will be the first person to tell you how un-handy he is. Normally, if there’s a manual he passes the torch to me to assemble, however this was not the case. The install was super easy and took him no longer than 10-minutes to put together which was a huge win. I was so excited to get Evie into the seat that I almost skipped connecting my iPhone, which is a huge component to operating the infant seat. At first I was having trouble connecting my app using bluetooth, but was able to connect by turning it off-and-on again. As mentioned above the 4moms app is essentially your remote to operating the Mamaroo.

How to Operate the 4MOMS MAMAROO

Once you’ve connected your phone to the machine you’re able to control motion and select sounds. Should you not have your phone handy you can also control or switch between settings using the arrows. Evie favorite settings are car ride level 5 and heartbeat. You can also connect your phone and play your own music! The seat is adjustable and allows you to move between a lower rock and more of an upright style position.

Where to Place the 4MOMS MAMAROO

We personally like to keep our Mamaroo in the living room, its modern enough in design to not look like your typical bouncer and doesn’t take up much space. Anyone who's been over while she’s rocking normally comments that they want one in their size! We typically have her in her seat a couple times a day around noon and 5. This usually give us about 45 minutes to either sit down for a meal or finish off some laundry or dishes. The 4MOMS MAMAROO did not disappoint and definitely falls under a must buy for baby.
