Tropical Themed Engagement party

A little over two weeks ago Kev and I had our engagement party, a tropical-themed one at that! It was a surreal and truly special event and I’m so grateful for the friends and family who were there to celebrate with us. We wanted to host something that would be relaxed and comfortable for our guest and opted to have a evening cocktail party in my parents backyard. Lucky for us my parents love to garden and have a beautiful space to entertain. I knew I wanted to incorporate summer and a tropical feel into the theme and opted for a ‘coco cabana” vibe, complete with frozen mai-tai’s and Hawaiian inspired light bites.
