I am constantly in awe of people that can braid like no ones business! In fact, some well-known bloggers have made their sites the go-to destination for all things braids. In an effort to switch up my routine I decided to take a departure from my normal 'french braid" styles and work in a few new looks. Festival season is upon us and theres nothing I love more than a great style that will keep hair out my my face while looking chic at the same time.

I tend to keep my closet pretty seasonal, and Spring can be a tricky time to start bringing clothing back into the mix. For me the most important thing is to think about the months ahead, and the pieces I know are tried and true. My go-to pieces are usually cotton shirts, skirts, and a few pairs of shorts. 

This past weekend was spent sippin' vino and celebrating my parent's 35th anniversary! Me and the boy headed up to Napa Saturday morning. Being the crazy planner I am, I had picked out a spring dress and cargo jacket to wear days before. I was so excited to finally show a little leg, despite however ghostly they may be! 

The 90s styles are back and better than before! Now, I'm not taking scrunches and banana clips but, mini-bun style certainly are. This may be the easiest style I've ever shown, in fact I actually debated even sharing this tutorial, but here we are. I adore this mini-bun, it's probably my most frequented second day style.
