And just like that, the holiday season is a wrap! I’m well on my way to organizing and putting aways Christmas decor and look forward to enjoying a clean slate come the new year. One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to strategize and plan next year’s larger home projects and overall budget. This strategy always helps put things in perspective and keeps my spending in check! In addition, I love seeing new releases from Target for decor ideas, and it often will help inspire where I’d like to take a room’s design or what prints, wood tones, or styles may be trending.

I love Target for affordable home decor, and I often mix these more affordable decors and furnishings into my design plans! I am on board with the darker wood tones popping up in these collections. It’s a new design path that I think many of us and looking forward to. I also love the more feminine floral prints and gingham prints for the spring season.
