A recent vacation took Kevin and me down to sunny Santa Barbara, one of our favorite places to visit, not only because of our family but also for the laid-back atmosphere. It was such a nice break to enjoy a little bit of sunshine and escape from San Francisco’s gloomy fog. We checked in to The Kimpton Goodland for the weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased with the property and its offerings. Our room although not entirely spacious was very comfortable and perfect size for relaxing. We were also able to take advantage of the pool area to catch some rays.
While we were in town we caught up with family and they took us around to some of the best spots in downtown Santa Barbara, including a few bars and restaurants that definitely deserve a second visit.
