Pop into Color

In my opinion there's no such thing as too much black but, when it comes to color I’m a bit more reluctant to indulge. Summer is one of the only seasons I break out of my neutral shell and embrace the spectrum. This bold and bright Banana Republic dress was the perfect piece to welcome the warm days. I love the midi-length and the fit couldn’t be more comfortable. It is quite nice and a bit dressy on it’s own, so I made sure to style it more casually*. I say this with an asterisk because any time I wear heels, it's an occasion!

Speaking of which how fun are these heels? I had been stalking BR’s Instagram for months wanting to snap them up, so you can believe my surprise when they showed up on my doorstep! The heel is a bit higher than I’d normally go but, they were a breeze to walk in. I’m considering wearing them for my engagement party as well. Aside from playing a bit of dress up, today marks 1 week from the day we’ll be flying to Europe!

I’m incredibly excited and will be posting more details about our stay next week. Until then I’ll be doing plenty of blogging and running a few last minute errands.
