Silky Pants & Mules

When you find a pair of silky straight leg pants that fits like a glove, you buy them! Pajama style pants can walk a very thin line between bedtime wear and approved for daylight. Through my hunt to score the perfect pant, I can across plenty of poorly made or nearly see-through alternatives. These actually ended being a Forever21 find, which is crazy considering the price tag was well under $30. This style is perfect for the transition into Spring, with a light fabric and loose fit. I wanted to create a look that had a more masculine edge, so I paired the pants with a sleeveless button-down and camel colored trench.

The whole look definitely has an Annie Hall meets western flair, which I’m totally loving at the moment. I guess you could say it’s my way of gearing up for festival season without going all Coachella dress-up on you. I’m hoping to be able to enjoy another warm weekend are possibly style these with an oversized hat and fitted blouse.
