Since the move it's been fun exploring different spots across the city, Baker Beach being one of them. The boy and I ventured here one day last week near "sunset" when the beach had been cleared of any tourist or lingering people. Although the fog was definitely present we were still able to get a few glimpses of the Golden Gate.
Whist exploring there really isn't anything I'd really rather be wearing the casual and comfortable cotton pieces. When it comes to casual attire maxi skirts are my favorite things to wear. It's almost like a "dressed-up" version of your favorite cotton pants, super relaxed but, still adds an appropriateness for being seen in public. This particular number was a recent piece from ByerCA Palm Desert collection. I immediately fell in love with the black and white print, and loved the fact that the waist is banded. I continued the casual vibe with a military-inspired jacket from Nordstrom Rack, Slouchy Tank from Old Navy, and a playful fringed cross-body.
If you're a lover of cotton causal yet completely wearable pieces like I am then you've got to check out ByerCA! Their site it filled with great pieces perfect for everyday wear and also fall transition. A bonus for my local babes, ByerCA will be opening their first retail store location Thursday, August 13th to Sunday, August 16th, at the San Francisco Premium Outlets (located in Livermore).
