Summer Stripes

It's not just the edginess that attracts me to these pieces but, also the minimalistic elements. I've been wanting a long sleeveless blazer for awhile now, but had yet to find one that fit me right. They were either too uniform looking or just not long enough. This style from bb Dakota was everything I was looking for and more! The style was streamlined and polished without looking stiff.

The weathers been warm enough to get away with a short sleeves so of course I paired it with a long shirt and leather shorts. The shirt was an forever21 find I purchased at the beginning of summer, while the shorts were a long time purchase. I've been slowly purchasing more and more monochromatic pieces, they just seem to get more wear. I'm sure I'll be wearing a version of this outfit for a majority of the weekend.
