The Right Romper
Rompers, I love to hate them. They're that favorite sweater you love the look of, only to try it on to be tight or loose in all the wrong places. I'd compete finding a romper that actually fits to the feeling you get after running a race, pure euphoria.
Moto & Striped
When it comes to dresses, fit n’ flare is my go-to style! The silhouette is incredibly slimming and is great for this time of year. This button-down style from ASOS has a vintage feel and surprisingly enough vertical stripes actually work with the dress instead of against it.
Denim Lace-Up
When it comes to gearing up for spring my closet most commonly falls into two of three categories, denim and dresses. When I’m not wearing one of the other, I’m wearing both! Case and point this denim shift dress. I’m all for comfort and this little number is no exception. The lace-up detail is edgy but, not only showy which is right up my alley. I loosely tied a bow, but I’m also thinking of styling it in two knots with a bandana or scarf.
A Day at The Races
This week I’m sharing photos from our trip with Marriott to Kenneland for Maker’s Mark 46 Mile. We ended up going to the racetrack the last day we were there and it couldn’t have been a better send-off to a great press trip.
Garden Party
Between lusting enviously over everyone’s Coachella’s pictures and battling a crazy windy weekend, to say summer can’t come soon enough is an understatement. So aside from not wearing fringed skirts and 90s band tees much of the weekend was spent running errands and yes, hangin on to my hat. I’ve been into hats a lot lately and experimenting with different silhouettes and styles. This particular straw style has the perfect structure and aesthetics for the spring and summer seasons. I like to wear girly styles every now and again and thought that this eyelet dress would be the perfect compliment. The top has the dainties button-down front with dolphin-side slits. The best part about it, it's on sale here!
Southern Charm
This week couldn’t be more different to the last, so I wanted to share a little peek into the Bourbon Battle held by Marriott Hotel’s Griffith Gate and Maker’s Mark. No stranger to bourbon I jumped at the chance to attend the release and debut of Maker’s Mark flights.
Bells and Bourbon
What a weekend...more like week! The boy and I were treated to a press trips with Marriott and Maker's Mark last week in what would be the best bourbon trip of all time! Yes, no exaggeration, and I'm sure if you follow along on social media you caught plenty of my shares. Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing a few mouth watering cocktails, and looks from our trip to Kentucky. (This particular looks comes at you from day two.)
Springtime in the City
Raise your hands if you consider denim a year-round staple ( insert high-five emoji). As if there's anything more classic than a pair of washed jeans, it's cuffed or cut-off shorts! Living in San Francisco in the springtime means a mix of highs and lows. Being as the weather typically settles in the mid-60s layering year round is a must.
