Sharing one of my go-to outer wear pieces of the season, the plaid cape.

If I could wear sweaters year around I absolutely would! There's just something about a chunky-oversized knit that makes me feel at ease. Pair them with denim, leather, or a print and the look is winter wear perfection.

I'm back in business! It's been an incredible few weeks and I'm excited to get back to the blogging grind. If you follow along on Twitter or Instagram, you'll know that I've been holed in in Lake Tahoe for the holidays. It was great time all around, and I can't wait to go back. 

Merry Christmas Eve! With the holiday less than a day away I'll be spending the afternoon finishing up some over due baking and wrapping a few last minute goodies. Oh, and did I mention indulging in some serious relaxation?

In partnership with Zappos I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots for a look perfect for the holidays! When it comes to picking out something to wear for Christmas I like to keep my outfit comfy and festive. Since most of the day will be spent lounging and eating, denim is essential.  

I've been taking full advantage of the the leftover fall foliage. Amongst a sea of orange and ombre hues, my neighborhood has become the perfect backdrop for my latest looks. I'm still not 100% back to health yet, so jeans and easy tops have been my daily uniform. I'm a big fan of easy layering, and vests are the perfect piece to add definition to a simple blouse. Both pieces are from previous seasons, but I will link similar styles below!
