I hope everyone is well rested from the long holiday weekend and gearing up for the festivities ahead in the coming months. Fall and winter have long been my favorite fashion seasons. Living in San Francisco, I grew accustomed to year-round layering, and a wardrobe that rarely saw cut-off denim shorts, with my most frequently worn piece falling in between sweaters and anoraks jackets. My tried and true staples for this time of year are always pieces I can style with other pieces in my closet, which makes them absolute essentials!

Striped Sweater: Ok, by now you know I’m OBSESSED with stripes. I’ve never been huge on any other print, but stipes? They’re my jam! A colorful striped sweater can be worn and styled well into February, or even March if it’s a lighter fabric.
Leather or faux Leather Skirt: When I’m feeling bored of my daily denim I most frequently turn to skirts to switch things up. A leather wrap skirt, or simple zip-front style are perfect for pairing with tights or bare legs (should the weather be warm, or you be brave enough).
Top Handle Mini-Bag: Is there anything cuter than a mini handbag? Aside from the utter adorableness of the petite size, this bag actually holds all your essentials! Yes, everything fits from, an iPhone, keys, lip gloss, wallet and sunglasses! Purchasing a two-fold sectioned bag gives this added storage, without taking away from the small shape.
Aviator Sunnies: I just recently was looking into picking up a pair of designer aviators. I had looked online and narrowed my choice down to a few pairs at Nordstrom. When I went in store to try then on I was super disappointed with the shape and style of the frames. I just wanted a standard pair of oversized aviators with black lenses. Luckily, Diff graciously sent over these babies, which were exactly what I was looking for!
