Two Ways to Style Sneakers This Season with Macy’s

This post was written in partnership with Macy’s, all opinions are my own.

I think we can all agree that when it comes to summer comfort is key! Between sweltering heat waves and the occasional humid afternoon, there really is no excuse to subject yourself to uncomfortable shoes and clothing. I’ve always believed that comfort and style can go hand-in-hand so it’s no surprise that the shoe I’m styling in today’s post is from the one and only UGG brand! As if their famed boots aren’t enough of an inclination of how much the brand values comfort, then their line of tennis shoes surely is. I had the opportunity to take UGG’s Pinkett Lace-up Sneakers for a spin the last few weeks and have been since been walking on clouds (literally). These aren’t your typically bulky insole shoes either. The sleek, fashion-forward pointed toe and perforated material make them breathable and more importantly comfortable!

The best thing about Pinkett style is that they are neutral enough to dress down or dress up. During the work week, I’m normally always busy running errands and finalizing deadlines which means I need to be light on my feel. Whilst around town, I wore these with a pair of denim cutoffs and silky blouse. In the mid-morning heat, the shoes were a breeze to run around in, I even got compliments while I waited in line at the post office! We all know the days when multiple outfits are likely to be worn, and as much as I typically loathe them, a Friday afternoon invitation to drinks is not something I’m likely to turn down.

DRESS IT UP!

A quick change for dinner means putting on something a bit more dressy. During summer evenings I love wearing breezy dresses, this bohemian style goes so well with the Pinkett’s neutral style and color. The shoes lend themselves to be paired with just about anything, which makes them a great buy for the summer season. I’m also planning on having them be my go-to travel shoe so I don’t end up giving into my over-packing tendencies. Be sure to snag this style or check out other comfort brands this season at Macy's!
