Simple Steak Tacos

Ingredients:

  • Flank Steak {BBQ & thinly cut}

  • Corn Tortillas

  • Iceberg Lettuce {Shredded}

  • Cilantro {chiffonade}

  • Cotija Cheese

  • Tomatoes {diced}

Directions:

Delicious, easy-to-follow recipe, perfect for a weeknight meal. As the summer season begins to energy we usually try and make our favorite BBQ meals. We're all about using pre-marinated flank-steak, you just can't beat the taste, and it's ready to go when you need it.

You can find pre-marinated meat at most grocery stores, and if not most marinates are fairly simple to mix up. Check out this recipe here and Martha's lime juice marinade.

Assembling {after grill}

After you've grilled your flank steak, let rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain. To assemble your tacos start by warming up your corn tortillas, which you can do this in the microwave (wrapped in a towel) or on a stove top.

Place steak on your warmed tortilla and top with cotija cheese {optional}. Next add your toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro and anything else you wish to add.
