How to Wear Plaid Pants & Link-Up
I’m a firm believer in the power of print! It’s amazing how much you can transform an outfit (and your attitude) by incorporating a classic or unexpected pattern. In general, I style my outfits by tone and limit pattern play to a single clothing article or accessory. This time of year print and cool weather go hand-in-hand making it nearly impossible not to incorporate a pattern into your look. This season, I’m leaning towards the classics and living in these plaid-printed leggings from No nonsense.
I love what their brand has done in terms of marrying comfort with style, and is partly the reason why I can’t seem to take them off! Typically, leggings are produced with thinner material, which makes them a brave choice come winter. This denim-style fabric is much thicker, and is perfect for layering under a blouse or oversized sweater. Lately, I’ve been styling them with a loose button-down for a polished look, and adding additional accessories to give it a modern touch.
