Football Cake Pops

Step 1: Bake cake, you can choose to do something from scratch or box. There is a lot of work that goes into them so box is the way I'd go.  Once cake is baked and cooled transfer into a large box and crumble cake so that it is all around the same size. I think next time I would need to brake the cake up a little more prior to adding frosting.

You can combine the cake and frosting with a back of a wooden spoon. Mix until the mixture is holding and workable, not gooey or un-moldable. You can then mold your cake batter and icing into any shape you desire. Transfer molded cake to pan lined with parchment paper {this is a mandatory step but just in case}.

Once  all your cake has been molded transfer to the fridge so the cake can cool and is easier to work with. While the cake is firming up melt your chocolate candy coating. Melt chocolate in a deep microwave safe bowl, in half batches for around :30 seconds at a time. {Stirring in-between} Dip stick into chocolate and push into cake balls, after you can dip the entire cake into the coating. Put cake pops into a stand until cooled.

Once cake pops are dried decorate to your hearts content!
