Good Eats | Namu Gaji

It's no secret that I love food and dining out. I had been toying with the idea of adding a section to my blog to feature a few of my favorite SF eateries for awhile, and today I bring you the first in the Good Eats series! A woodsy California interior meets organic Korean American cuisine. Namu Gaji is located in the Mission district and perched on the corner of 18th & Dolores Street (kitty-corner from Dolores Park.) If the sleek and modern wood decor isn't enough to catch your attention then their line-up of organic locally sourced grub will.

I actually had the opportunity to dine at Namu Gaji for an event a few months ago and have been back a number of times since. A few favorites which I will continue to order were the oxtail, chicken ramen, and Korean Fried Chicken which may be the best I've ever had. Aside from the beautiful plating and attention to detail the food is flavor and incredibly fresh. The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. One of the coolest things about the restaurant and space is that many of the seats give you a peek into the kitchen. Things tend to fill up quickly with locals and fan foodies, so I would recommend calling ahead for reservations.
