Maxx Life

This post is sponsored by T.J. Maxx

These days life seems to be busier than ever! With a new job, a move on the horizon, and weddings galore, I have little if any time to spare. When it comes time to shop for all these occasions, a trip to the mall is pretty much the last thing I want to do, especially if it involves wandering aimlessly from store to store with little to show for it. I've always loved the idea of a one-stop shop, you know, the places where you just so happen to find everything from shoes to accessories to clothing, oh ya, and that phone case you didn't know you needed. That place for me is T.J. Maxx. Not only do I always seem to find everything I'm looking for, but also the styles are current and in-season.

I’m the kind of girl who always likes a second opinion, so I rarely, if ever, shop alone.  I know I can always convince my mom to come along, who just so happens to be my favorite shopping partner, and if there's any good excuse for a little girl time it's a shopping trip! Whether we're searching for the perfect clutch or helping each other pick out a new dress, I know I can always rely on her suggestions. The other evening we decided to take a detour after dinner to find a little something for an upcoming celebration. I was in search of the summer dress that would easily transition from work to the weekends. Shopping for clothing that can do double duty is a big priority, especially since I'm on a budget. After a few hits and misses I was more than excited to stumble across what I consider to be the perfect summer dress! After the nod of encouragement from my shopping critic, it was a done deal.

A little additional browsing led to a purchase of an accompanying cross-body purse and a pair of strappy sandals. I ended up with an entire outfit for a little more than $50, and I didn’t have to spend the whole day looking for it. The best part? I was able to spend a little more time with my mom.

maxx savings. maxx style. maxx life.
