RAD in Plaid

Another week in the books! Fleet week officially begins and I couldn't be more excited for all this weekends festivities. For those non San Franciscans, fleet week happens once a year and is the time when navy ships dock and the blue angels put on crazy air shows. It's a great vibe around the city and most people are in a celebratory mood. I'll be taking Saturday afternoon to work on the blog and catch the boy's football game, but come Sunday it's on!

We'll be joining friends to watch the air show on a roof near all the action, which should be a blast. It's supposed to be 70 and sunny so hopefully I'll be able to get away jacket free. This week was filled with highs and lows when it comes to temp. Certain days I'd come home and our house would feel like a sauna, while others we're chilly. During this time of year I like to wear more "fall appropriate" dresses, think long sleeves, and thicker fabrics. That way I can layer on a jacket or simply wear as is. This plaid dress is a steal from Old Navy, and I'm pretty sure I got 30% off too! They definitely have a few pieces that caught my eye, and I'm thinking another shopping trip will be in my future.
